Why today the education system does not show the interconnection between the various streams of science: Biology can be taught not merely as biology but as part of physics, mechanical engineering, computer system, instrumentation, pattern recognition etc??? Why we don't tell students that invention of DNA structure was not merely an off shoot of bio-chemistry, but it had lot to do with x'ray diffraction of crystals perfected by Pauling!!! And the double helix structure could be explained with Bessel functions!!! How many of physics or mathematics students have read Watson's paper announcing the double helix structure? Why they are not encouraged to do it? When calculus is taught, why do we only look at physics problems but do not state economic applications of calculus!! Why the authors also provide such a narrow focus when they write??? Why don't excite the students in school with game theory problems and show its applications?
WHY CAN'T WE MAKE STUDENTS SEE THE INTERCONNECTION BETWEEN ALL STREAMS OF KNOWLEDGE AND MAKE EDUCATION MORE EXCITING AND FUN??????
